A new storehouse for inflatable dingies, with a cruiser workshop allowing undercover repairs and maintenance is now complete.

The car park and gravelled storage ashore areas have been enclosed within security fencing and equiped with electrical sockets and water supply at various points.

The automatic security gate is operated by swiping a key fob over an electronic eye. Key fobs are issued to all members on joining the Club. For families and couples a limited number of additional fobs are available at £10 each from the Club Secretary.

The fob key code can be chaged annually to ensure that security is maintained. Visitors can park near by in the public car park and either ring the Club House or make advance arrangements of their visit.

The Club has also invested in a 20 ton boat hoist enabling boats to be lifted off the 15 ton trolly and cradle which runs down the newly refurbished and re-designed slip way.

Together these make launching and retrieving boats much faster and safer.
It is also easier for boats to be lifted mid-season for a scrub-off or essential repair work and for trailer-sailers to access the water quickly and safely.

Arrangements for launching and retrieving boats can be made with the Shoremaster.
