Thursday January 7th	"What use is a survey" Grahame Freeburn gives an introduction to the role of the Marine Surveyor plus an opportunity to ask questions about problems you may be having with your own boat.
Thursday November 12^th	Quiz Night with infamous quiz master Garry Short .	Thursday January 14^th	Strategy for the Severn Estuary - Christine Marsh will provide information on recent developments in the strategic plan for the Severn Estuary.
Thursday November 19^th	RNLI Card Sale. An opportunity to find all your Christmas Cards and gifts in one place. No more trudging around Cardiff on Christmas Eve looking for the perfect gift!	Thursday January 21st	Sailing the Baltic "I thought I'd died and gone to heaven!" Howard Lavis describes the joys and some of the pitfalls of Baltic sailing.
Saturday November 21st	Seadog's Dinner.	Thursday January 28^th	Sailing in the Med - A talk by Carole and Ray Fradd who left Newport in 2000 in their Sigma 36 "Storm Chaser" and in the following 8 seasons traveled all over the Med from Spain to Syria.
Thursday November 26^th	"Lead us not into temptation" (From Grandfathers pocket watch to Electronic Chart Plotter) A talk by Tom Cunliffe, one of Britain's leading speakers on seafaring and survival in hard times.	Thursday February 4^th	National Coastwatch Institution, Nell's Point - Terry Ewington will chart the development of the National Coastwatch Institution and discuss recent developments at Nell's Point.
Thursday December 3rd	Who discovered America? Professor Bernard Knight CBE, President of the Madoc Society, past Home Office Pathologist, author of many crime fiction, historical novels and television dramas, turns his attention to pre-Colombian transatlantic voyages.	Thursday February 11^th	National Botanic Gardens of Wales - An illustrated talk by Desmond Woods. Come on an illustrated journey through this gem of Welsh life. now one of top most visited gardens of Britain. Learn a little of its history and be mesmerised by its beauty.
Thursday December 10^th	'The work of the Seafarers International Research CentreNick Bailey will provide an overview of the work of the Seafarers International Research Centre (SIRC).	Thursday February 18^th	Quiz Night. Your regular brain gym with quizmaster extraordinaire Garry Short .

Tickets available from Linda Batten. After Dinner Speaker: Mr Ian Barker 49er Olympic silver medallist at Sydney 2000, and current Elite Sail Training coach for the 2012 Olympics.

Relax with a nice drink and meal in warm surroundings.	Thursday March 11^th	Fitting Out Party - Celebrate the start of the season in style! 2010 HAS to be better than last year. A chance to discuss your plans and dreams for the forthcoming season as you tuck into a hearty buffet.
