Commercial and private moorings are allocated by the Club on behalf of ABP. Mooring fees and winter storage ashore are calculated per foot. Typically a privately owned sailing cruiser would pay £7.50 per foot, with £3.35 per foot charges for winter shore storage. Limited shore storage space is also available for boats not wishing to take up a mooring. Costs may vary according to the harbour charges applied at the time. There are some moorings available for sailing craft, at present the private fishing vessel quota is fully subscribed.

Commercial mooring application must be submitted in the same way, boat owners will have access from the BYC slipway, but passenger access must be via the ABP steps. Permits can be obtained directly from ABP.
